Based on the best-selling novel by Mitch Cullin, Tideland was adapted for the screen by renowned writer/director Terry Gilliam (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, Twelve Monkeys, Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail). The film was released in theaters in 2006 and heads to DVD on February 27, 2007 from THINKFilm.
